One more sneak peek for now… three year old Savannah who I’ve been photographing since she was three or so months old. Time flies! Savannah’s Mom always has the most fun ideas for me- here’s just a few of Savannah ‘all grown up’.

Parker was my third wonderful sleeper of December- once we got him asleep- he was out for the rest of the session. Another great session- thanks to his family for allowing me into your home to meet him!

Ruby was another one of my pre-holiday baby girls. I was so blessed this holiday season to connect with every single parent I worked with on signature sessions- it really made for wonderful, relaxing sessions and ordering sessions. This family was no exception and I enjoyed every minute of Ruby’s session experience.

I’ll keep my blog posts short as I’m catching up- so without much delay- meet sweet Olivia who I got to photograph less than a week before Christmas. She was such a sleepy baby and so cooperative for her first photography debut. Thanks for her wonderful parents!

Hello from New Orleans! Although our studio is still mostly closed- with the exception of some open baby and newborn sessions and sporadic emailing from the studio from time to time- I still took the time out of our vacation to come down to New Orleans for a national photography convention that I attend each year. Over the course of 3 days photographers from all around the US get to listen to some of the most prestigious and celebrated photographers in the world speak- it is truly an inspiring event to be a part of. Most of all, it is important to our studio that we stay educated, ahead of trends, and are constantly growing and improving for the future so we can provide the best experiences and long term portraiture for our loyal clients.
Thank you to all of our clients who made it a wonderful 2012 holiday season- I don’t think I slept more than 5 hours a night from November until Christmas as we were on session overdrive trying to get everyone what they needed for the holidays- but I’m happy to say we had another successful year and look forward to kicking off again in February with new ideas and products for 2012. A big thank you from myself and the Bell Portraits staff for all of the cards sent to our studio with Bell Portraits images on them- all of the cards that came in made us truly reflect on what it means to be a family’s photographer year after year.
As you can see our usually very busy blog has been neglected through it all- I’ll be blogging all of our sessions from the end of November and December starting today- beginning with a handful of our winter newborns. Hope everyone is having a restful January and looking forward to seeing you all this year.
To all of our past, and new, clients looking to get in last minute for the holidays, we have 4 signature session slots remaining and then the following mini sessions in our natural light studio. Other than this- we are done booking for the year! Can’t wait to see everyone as we finish off our fall season. Please note our studio closes December 17th and reopens again February 7th of 2012.

I’ve been wanting to sneak peek this session since I did it last week but it seemed between getting fall orders our, editing, and running around shooting sessions there wasn’t a spare moment to. Today it was first thing on my to do list! I feel this session is exactly what our studio is all about- creamy tones, gorgeous light, texture, and happy babies! Enjoy S family- it was such a great session!

I traveled into Manhattan and for this session and was met with what I think is one of my favorite sessions I’ve ever done. Between the chemistry this family had together and the relaxed approach we all took- we ended up some beautiful soulful images. This Mom and I had talked quite a bit in advance about the kind of images she wanted- as we do with many of our signature sessions. It pays off so much when I have a clear vision of what a client is looking for as I know exactly what I want to shoot when I walk into a home. Hope you love these D family- I hope I captured exactly what you were envisioning in a session. It was truly a delight!

Meet Ellie & Collin! With a three year old that took a bit of time to warm up to me and your typical mobile twelve month old- I had to work hard for these portraits- but oh did they pay off. Enjoy A family!

Just two of Julianna and Winston of course! Nothing better than a little puppy love in family portraits- being a huge dog lover- I love having dogs at sessions. Enjoy M family!

Ethan is 2! I’ve been photographing him since he was 6 months old. Ethan’s Mom told me before the session that each year I take a picture of Ethan with fall leaves- I didn’t even realize that- but this year- I made sure I did! To Ethan’s family- enjoy!

Just a sneak peek of these three on the blog! I have to say- the family image- a very signature Bell Portraits type image- happens to be one of my favorites all fall. Enjoy S family!

Sisters sessions are some of my favorites. I never had a sister, but photographing sisters who have amazing chemistry together and evident love for each other, I wish I did! Enjoy K family!

Last year I saw this Mom she was still waiting on Charlie. Now Charlie is here and cuter than I could have imagined. Charlie has amazing blue eyes. The funny thing about babies with beautiful blue eyes? They happen to look amazing in color and in black & white. I present them to my clients each way (for most images)- but sometimes my blog just needs a little classic black & white.

Last year I met these two guys it was just the two of them… this year they have a new addition! Welcome baby girl! She’s the perfect addition!

I’ve been photographing Parker for a long time now- I think this is my fourth year working with her? To get to watch a child grow from 6 weeks to 3.5 years old… that is just one of the really special things about my job. Enjoy W family!

Adrian’s parents were one of my only families that braved the weekend with me- and I’m so glad they did. We ended up having great weather surprisingly and a wonderful shoot. Hope you love these H family- I think Adrian looks stunning!

Hope you like some of these Hilly! To my blog readers- I used to babysit Hilly when she was 5 years old. Crazy to be taking her senior pictures!

I saw these two last year too and they were just as giggly, smiley, and fun to photograph this year as they were last year. Siblings who truly to connect with each other are so much fun to work with.

I only have a few moments before I have to head back to emails, editing, and shooting- but I have to post these four on the blog before I go. I got some really beautiful sibling images (I promise Mom!) but I find these guys so incredible stunning that I had to post these head shots of them. I find them so photogenic. Enjoy C family!
